(BCBMW Club), is a fun, family oriented group of people who enjoy riding and talking about BMW motorcycles.
Meetings are held the first Saturday of each month (except in January
In addition to monthly meetings and rides (weather permitting), the BCBMW Club sponsors
the Original Mini-Rally each year
in Sturgis, Michigan.

Vermontville Maple Syrup Festival - April 25,
One sure sign of spring is the annual
Vermontville Maple Syrup Festival. Vermontville is the place to
be for a yummy Saturday breakfast of pancakes and fresh maple syrup.
If you're there on your motorcycle around 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 25th, you likely
won't be alone. Thousands of motorcyclists consider this the kick-off event of the riding season in Michigan.

Safety Tip of the
Month: Watch Out for Potholes!!!
Yes, it's still February and there is still
snow on the ground. But it won't be long before it melts away
and we'll all be dusting off our BMWs for the first rides of spring.
Now is the time to start preparing mentally for those first spring
Keep your eyes
open for those nasty spring potholes. They're
bad news in a car, but even more dangerous for motorcyclists.
Start looking for them right now to protect your car and your first
Local road crews do their best, but it often takes several months
before they can attend to all of the roads in the area - especially
the more rural roads many of us favor.
be on the lookout for excess debris
along the sides of the road, where plows have pushed
aside snow, ice, sand, salt, animal remains and whatever else landed
in the middle of the road over the winter months. Pay special
attention to corners. Get in the habit of looking for roadside
debris right now.

More than 30 club members and guests
were on hand for the annual BMW Club of Battle Creek Christmas Party
(and December club meeting). Those in attendance enjoyed a
meal served up by the nice folks at Schuler's
in Marshall, MI.

Camp Out 2014
If you missed the annual camp out at Camp Fort Hill in
you missed a fantastic weekend of fun, friends and feasting.
Connie S. organized fabulous meals, Marcie planned and judged a
camp-themed scavenger hunt and good friends gathered around the fire
to tell stories and work puzzles.
Make sure you don't miss it in 2015. Get
